Mud refers to the fluid flowing from the drill pipe or casing to the well wall during the drilling process. In order for the liquid to flow evenly in the well, sufficient pressure and flow must be ensured. There are two main ways of mud transportation: one is to send high-pressure mud to the bottom of the well through the ground drilling fluid pump; the other is to realize it through specially designed mud pipes.

    The specifications and standards of the mud hose mainly depend on the mud medium. In the process of mud transportation, its pressure and flow have certain restrictions. Usually, it is affected by the following factors:

  9. Viscosity and viscosity of drilling fluid;
  10. Bottom hole temperature.
    Therefore, the standard length of the mud pipe is 1.6~4.0m, the diameter is Φ140~Φ320 mm, and the wall thickness is 16~20 mm. Mud pipes are generally made of seamless steel pipes. Since the seamless steel pipe is in direct contact with the mud, its product quality must be guaranteed.
