Spiral wound corrugated pipe is composed of metal inner and outer layers and high temperature resistant plastic outer protective layer, and the outer wall of the pipe is formed into a network pattern through multi-layer spiral winding. At present, the spiral wound hose produced in my country has a metal inner sheath outside, which can withstand relatively high pressure, but it is not resistant to high temperature (the maximum working temperature is 270°C).

Due to the low level of manufacturing and production technology in our country, especially when the pipeline transports high-temperature media, the outer layer of high-temperature-resistant plastic loses its original performance due to excessive temperature. The inner and outer layers of the steel wire wound hose are made of high-temperature-resistant plastic, which has stable chemical properties, is not easy to age and deteriorate, and has a long service life. It consists of three parts: outer sheath, inner sheath and hose core. The outer layer is made of anti-oxidation and heat-resistant metal material; the inner layer is made of heat-resistant plastic.

Steel wire wound hose has many unique advantages over ordinary rubber or fiberglass pipes:

  1. Corrosion resistance: not affected by medium (including acid, alkali and oil);
  2. High impact resistance: high strength, impact resistance;
  3. Heat resistance and heat resistance: the highest temperature resistance can reach 260°C;
  4. High internal pressure strength, the hose core is a circular cross-section, and there is no internal leakage. Allow to withstand greater pressure;

Functions and Features

  1. Spiral wound hose is resistant to high temperature (up to 400°C), high pressure resistance, good insulation performance, safe and reliable, and long service life;
  2. The spiral wound hose is suitable for conveying various media (oil, water) and solid powder media. The temperature range of the conveying medium is wide (-50°C~+200°C), effectively ensuring the reliability and economy of pipeline operation;
  3. The spiral wound hose has good chemical corrosion resistance and can be used to transport corrosive media;
  4. The structure of the spiral wound hose is simple, and the connection is convenient and quick;
  5. The spiral wound hose has excellent tensile properties;
  6. The inner wall of the pipeline is smooth and the frictional resistance is small, which can reduce energy loss and improve transmission efficiency when transporting fluid.
