How many ways to clean the inner wall of the PTFE pipe?
One of the reasons for the safe operation of the PTFE compensator is that the pipeline is properly installed and the pipeline is clean and unobstructed, so what will be the impact of the pipeline scaling, and how to clean these scaling? The following is an analysis of the scaled pipeline for water delivery. After the pipeline is scaled, the resistance increases and the water delivery capacity decreases. In order to restore the proper water delivery capacity of the pipeline, it is necessary to scrape the pipe lining. Pipe cleaning is the scraping process before the inner wall of the pipe is lined. There are two ways to clean the inner wall of the PTFE pipe and their different applications are as follows:
- Rinse with water. There are soft and hard scales in the pipe. The common method to remove the soft scale in the pipe is to periodically flush the pipe with pressure water, and the flow rate of the flushing should be 1.5 times greater than the normal operating flow rate. The soft scale in the pipe that can be washed away with pressure water refers to the sediment caused by suspended solids or iron salts. Although they are deposited at the bottom of the pipe, they are not firmly attached to the pipe wall and can be removed by washing with water. In order to facilitate the removal of scale in the pipe, ice hockey balls, rubber balls, plastic balls, etc. are placed in the pipe section that needs to be flushed. Using these balls can cause a larger local flow velocity on the smaller section of the pipe. After the ice puck is put into the tube, it does not need to be taken out from the tube. For local hard scaling, a cork can be put in the pipe, and the two ends of the cork are connected with a wire rope, and the cork is dragged back and forth to enhance the cleaning effect.
- Wash with air and water.
- High-pressure jet flushing. Using high-pressure water, the forward reaction force generated by spraying water backwards is used to promote movement. The scale in the pipe falls off, breaks up, and is discharged with the water flow. This method is suitable for medium and small pipelines, and the length of the high-pressure hose generally used is 50.
- Air pressure pulse cleaning. The method has simple equipment, convenient operation and low cost. The air intake and drain can be installed in the manhole, so there is no need to break pipes or excavate the road surface.
- Mechanical cleaning
Hard scaling has formed on the inner wall of the compensator tube, and it is difficult to solve it by simply washing it with water. At this time, it is necessary to use mechanical scraping. There are many types of pipe scrapers. For the scraping of scale in small-diameter water pipes, it is composed of cutting rings, scraping pipe rings and wire brushes. Use a wire rope to drag them back and forth in the pipe. Make deep marks on the scale on the inner wall, then scrape off the scale with the scraper ring, and then use a wire brush to clean it. The advantage of the scraping method is that the working conditions are better and the scraping speed is fast. The disadvantage is that the friction between the scraper and the pipe wall is very large, it is quite laborious to drag back and forth, and the pipeline is not easy to scrape clean.
